Description
A sagittal cross section of the female urinary bladder, cut along the midline to reveal the bladder in profile. The section shows the bladder wall, trigone, and urethra from the side, and exposes the relationship between the posterior bladder wall and the anterior vaginal wall. The sagittal plane is the standard orientation for pelvic MRI and ultrasound, making this view familiar to clinicians who assess bladder descent, cystocele, and urethral hypermobility. The bladder neck position relative to the pubic symphysis is visible in this cut. Sagittal bladder sections are used in urogynecology teaching, pelvic floor assessment training, and patient education about prolapse and incontinence. Medical advisory board reviewed. Export-ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
