Medical anatomical visualization

About SciePro

Twenty Years of Medical Visualization

Founded in Berlin in 2005 by medical illustrator Sebastian Kaulitzki, SciePro has spent two decades building one of the most technically rigorous bodies of work in medical visualization. What began as a one-person practice has grown into a studio of 20+ specialists, including anatomists, physicians, 3D artists, animators, and developers.

Our work is used by pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, universities, and healthcare institutions worldwide, including the Mayo Clinic, Merck, Arthrex, the University of Nebraska, and the University of Calgary.

From the ground up

Before launching our own platform, we built our reputation through the major stock channels. Between 2005 and 2023, our illustrations and animations were licensed more than 5 million times through agencies including Shutterstock, Getty Images, and Science Photo Library.

During that same period, we completed over 900 custom projects for pharmaceutical companies, medtech firms, and media organizations.

Those years gave us a clear picture of what the market was missing: a dedicated library of medically accurate visual assets, built to a consistent scientific standard and available without the constraints of general-purpose stock platforms.

The Anatomy Model

2014

We began work on what we consider
our most significant project:

A Comprehensive 3D Model Of The Human Anatomy, Built From The Ground Up In Alignment With The Terminologia Anatomica, The Internationally Recognized Standard For Anatomical Nomenclature.

Anatomists and medical professionals were involved throughout the entire development process, not brought in to review the work after the fact.

After a decade of development, we released Version 1.0

It has since been licensed to universities, hospitals, and medical technology companies, and work on expanding and refining the model continues. It forms the scientific backbone of our illustration library.

Medical accuracy as a baseline

Every asset published in the library has been reviewed by our Medical Advisory Board, which includes qualified anatomists and medical professionals. Our illustrations are produced to withstand scientific scrutiny, not just visual inspection.

Medical advisory seal

SciePro is also the largest medical illustration and animation presence on social media, with 8.5 million followers across platforms. It is a reflection of genuine public interest in science communicated with precision.

All models are reviewed by our certified medical advisory board for scientific precision.

The SciePro Library

In 2024, we began developing our own direct licensing platform. The SciePro Stock Library launched in 2026, giving clients a single destination for medically accurate illustrations, 3D anatomy models, and animations. Every asset is exclusive to this platform and is not available through any third-party agency.

The library currently includes more than

20,000+
Medical Illustrations
2,000+
Animations
500+
3D Anatomy Models

Licenses are available for commercial, educational, and extended use, with subscription plans designed for both businesses and academic institutions.
