Description
An isolated 3D model of the female liver, showing its external surface with the falciform ligament dividing the right and left anatomical lobes. The caudate and quadrate lobes are visible on the inferior surface. The porta hepatis marks where the portal vein, hepatic artery, and common hepatic duct enter and exit. The hepatic veins drain into the inferior vena cava at the superior margin. The liver's surface landmarks, including the fissures for the ligamentum teres and ligamentum venosum, are modeled. The overall shape reflects the liver's relationship to the diaphragm above and the right kidney, stomach, and colon below. Liver anatomy is central to hepatobiliary surgery, hepatology, and transplant medicine. The isolated model allows segmental anatomy to be studied for surgical planning without the surrounding abdominal organs. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
