Description
An isolated 3D model of the female lungs, showing both the right three-lobed lung and the left two-lobed lung with the cardiac notch. The hilum on the medial surface of each lung marks where the bronchi, pulmonary arteries, and pulmonary veins enter and exit. The fissures separating the lobes are clearly defined. The right lung is divided by the oblique and horizontal fissures into superior, middle, and inferior lobes. The left lung has only the oblique fissure, separating its superior and inferior lobes. The lingula on the left lung corresponds anatomically to the right middle lobe. Isolated lung models are used in pulmonology, thoracic surgery, and respiratory anatomy teaching. The model provides a clear view of the lobar anatomy and hilum without the rib cage or mediastinal structures. Medical advisory board reviewed. Ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
