Description
The female nervous system as an isolated 3D model, tracing the central and peripheral divisions from the brain through the terminal nerve branches. The cerebral hemispheres, cerebellum, and brainstem connect to the spinal cord, which gives rise to 31 pairs of spinal nerves at their respective vertebral levels. The brachial plexus (C5-T1) branches into the nerves of the upper limb. The lumbar and sacral plexuses form the femoral, obturator, and sciatic nerves. Cranial nerves exit the brainstem and course to their target structures. The pelvic autonomic plexus is modeled with female-specific innervation to the uterus, vagina, and bladder. Female pelvic innervation is clinically relevant to gynecological surgery, obstetric anesthesia, and pain management. The model reveals nerve pathways that are at risk during hysterectomy and other pelvic procedures. Useful for neuroanatomy courses, surgical planning references, and clinical education materials. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Export-ready for rendering, real-time engines, and 3D printing.
