Description
An anterior cross section of the male bladder and prostate, cut to expose the internal anatomy of both structures. The prostatic urethra runs through the center of the prostate, and the verumontanum is visible on the posterior urethral wall where the ejaculatory ducts open. The bladder trigone sits above the prostate. The section reveals the prostate's zonal anatomy: the peripheral zone forming the bulk of the gland, the transition zone surrounding the proximal urethra, and the central zone behind the ejaculatory ducts. The bladder neck's transition into the prostatic urethra is clearly visible. Anterior sections through the bladder and prostate are standard teaching views in urology for explaining BPH, prostate cancer location, and TURP surgical anatomy. Medical advisory board reviewed. Ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
