Description

The male digestive system as an isolated 3D model, following the alimentary canal from the oral cavity through the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and rectum. Accessory digestive organs include the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and salivary glands, each in their anatomically correct position relative to the GI tract. The stomach shows its fundus, body, antrum, and pyloric sphincter. The small intestine is divided into duodenum, jejunum, and ileum, with the duodenal C-loop wrapping around the head of the pancreas. The large intestine traces its path from cecum and appendix through the ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon to the rectum and anal canal. Haustra, taenia coli, and the hepatic and splenic flexures are visible. Digestive system anatomy is taught across gastroenterology, surgery, and nutritional science. The isolated model allows educators to follow the entire digestive pathway and show the spatial relationship between the gut tube and its accessory organs without interference from surrounding muscles, vessels, or the abdominal wall. Medical advisory board reviewed. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
