Description
The male fascial system isolated as a 3D model, displaying the continuous network of connective tissue sheaths that envelop muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels throughout the body. Superficial fascia lies just beneath the skin, while the deep fascia wraps individual muscles and groups them into functional compartments. Major fascial structures include the thoracolumbar fascia spanning the back, the iliotibial band running along the lateral thigh, the plantar fascia of the foot, and the palmar aponeurosis of the hand. Visceral fascia surrounds the internal organs, and meningeal layers protect the brain and spinal cord. Each layer connects to the next, forming a body-wide tensional network. Fascial anatomy has gained attention in manual therapy, surgical planning, and biomechanics research. The isolated model reveals spatial relationships between fascial planes that are difficult to appreciate when muscles and organs are present. Useful for osteopathic and physiotherapy education, surgical approach planning, and anatomical research materials. Medical advisory board reviewed. Clean mesh for rendering, real-time platforms, and 3D printing.
