Description
An isolated 3D model of the male pancreas, showing the head within the duodenal C-loop, the body crossing the midline, and the tail reaching the splenic hilum. The main pancreatic duct runs the length of the gland, and the uncinate process hooks behind the superior mesenteric vessels. The pancreas serves dual exocrine and endocrine functions. The acinar cells produce digestive enzymes that drain through the duct system into the duodenum. The islets of Langerhans produce insulin and glucagon, releasing hormones directly into the bloodstream. Pancreatic anatomy is studied in gastroenterology, endocrinology, and surgical oncology. The isolated model shows the gland's shape and ductal anatomy. Medical advisory board reviewed. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
