Description
An isolated 3D model of the male stomach, displaying the fundus, body, antrum, and pyloric canal. The greater and lesser curvatures shape the organ, and the cardiac orifice marks the gastroesophageal junction superiorly. The pyloric sphincter controls gastric emptying into the duodenum. The rugae pattern on the mucosal surface allows the stomach to expand from a resting volume of about 75 milliliters to over a liter during a large meal. The greater omentum attaches along the greater curvature, and the lesser omentum connects the lesser curvature to the liver. Gastric anatomy is studied in gastroenterology, upper GI surgery, and anatomy courses. The isolated model provides an unobstructed view of the stomach's shape and landmarks. Medical advisory board reviewed. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
