Description
An anterior cross section of the uterus showing cervical cancer. The tumor arises from the transformation zone of the cervix, where squamous and columnar epithelia meet. The mass may grow exophytically into the vaginal canal or endophytically into the cervical stroma, and advanced disease can extend into the parametrium or adjacent organs. Cervical cancer is strongly associated with persistent HPV infection and is one of the most preventable cancers through vaccination and screening. Staging depends on tumor size and extension to the vagina, parametrium, pelvic sidewall, bladder, or rectum. The model supports oncology education, patient counseling, and surgical anatomy teaching. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
