Description
An anterior cross section of the uterus showing endometrial hyperplasia. The endometrial lining appears abnormally thickened compared to normal, with an increased gland-to-stroma ratio. The thickened endometrium fills the uterine cavity and may produce irregular or heavy bleeding. Endometrial hyperplasia results from prolonged estrogen stimulation without adequate progesterone opposition. It ranges from simple hyperplasia (low risk) to complex atypical hyperplasia, which carries a significant risk of progression to endometrial cancer. The model supports gynecological education and patient counseling about abnormal uterine bleeding. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
