Description
An anterior cross section of the uterus showing an intramural fibroid embedded within the myometrial wall. The fibroid sits entirely within the muscle layer without projecting into the uterine cavity or onto the serosal surface. Intramural fibroids are the most common type. As they grow, they can distort both the cavity and the outer contour of the uterus. Symptoms depend on size and location: those near the cavity cause bleeding, those near the serosa cause pressure symptoms, and large ones can do both. The model supports gynecological education and fibroid type comparison. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
