Description
An anterior cross section of the uterus showing a subserosal fibroid. The fibroid grows from the outer myometrium toward the serosal surface, creating a bulge on the external contour of the uterus without distorting the endometrial cavity. Subserosal fibroids rarely cause bleeding symptoms because they do not affect the endometrial lining. They produce pressure symptoms instead: bladder frequency, constipation, and a palpable pelvic mass. Large subserosal fibroids can distort the uterine shape on imaging. The model supports gynecological education and fibroid classification teaching. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Ready for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
