Description
A 3D model of the uterus showing pelvic adhesions, fibrous bands of scar tissue connecting structures that are normally separate. Adhesions span between the uterus, tubes, ovaries, bowel, and pelvic sidewall, distorting the normal anatomical relationships. Pelvic adhesions result from prior surgery, infection (particularly PID), endometriosis, or radiation. They can cause chronic pelvic pain, bowel obstruction, and infertility by binding the fallopian tubes into fixed positions that prevent egg capture. The model supports gynecological education, surgical planning, and patient counseling about adhesive disease. Reviewed by a medical advisory board. Clean geometry for rendering, real-time, and 3D printing.
