The vertebral body sits anterior to the vertebral arch, with the pedicles bridging posteriorly toward the laminae and the base of the spinous process. A porous, thinned trabecular pattern suggests osteoporotic change within the centrum, while the cortical shell remains identifiable along the superior and inferior endplates. A localized red-tinted area along the lower margin draws attention to a vulnerable zone at the endplate ring apophysis. A fragile segment.
