Uncinate process of the ethmoid bone dominates this lateral view as a thin, sickle-shaped lamina descending from the ethmoidal labyrinth. Its free posterior margin forms the medial boundary of the ethmoidal infundibulum and helps define the hiatus semilunaris of the middle meatus, while its superior attachment lies close to the frontal recess and anterior ethmoidal air cells. Lateral to the uncinate, the lamina papyracea of the orbit would be immediately adjacent in situ; posterior and slightly superior, the ethmoidal bulla is the key neighboring elevation that completes the drainage corridor.
