Arising from the medial border of the male foot, the hallux (digit I) dominates the foreground, with the distal and proximal phalanges aligned anteriorly toward the nail plate and plantarward toward the toe pad. Just lateral to it, the second toe (digit II) sits slightly posterior in profile, its interphalangeal joints stepping proximodistally toward the distal phalanx. Medially, the soft tissue contour suggests the medial longitudinal arch, and the cutaneous surface transitions from thinner dorsal skin to thicker plantar skin at the toe pulp. Digital creases mark the flexion lines at the interphalangeal joints. Clear landmarks.
