The ventricular cavity is framed medially by the splenium of the corpus callosum and the fornix complex, while its lateral wall relates to deep parietal white matter and the tapetum. As the viewpoint advances and subtly rotates, the sequence clarifies how this expanded chamber sits posterior to the thalamus and adjacent to the crus of the fornix as the choroid plexus tracks along the choroidal fissure. Spatial orientation is the point.
