Description
Centered on the external nose, the nasalis muscle is isolated in red, with its alar part (alar nasalis) positioned inferolaterally along the ala nasi and the transverse part spanning more superiorly across the dorsum toward the nasal bridge. Medial fibers approach the midline over the nasal cartilages, while lateral fibers blend with adjacent facial musculature near the nasolabial region.
