Description
Seen from an anterior perspective with the knee flexed, the distal femur lies superior to the proximal tibia, with the patella seated anterior to the femoral trochlea. A femoral resurfacing component caps the femoral condyles, and an opposing tibial tray with a polyethylene insert sits on the tibial plateau, recreating the femorotibial articulation.
