Anteriorly, the cubital region is centered on the elbow joint where the distal humerus meets the proximal ulna and radius, with the trochlea articulating with the ulnar trochlear notch and the capitulum seated against the radial head. The medial epicondyle sits medial to the joint line, while the lateral epicondyle and radial head form the lateral contour. Superficial landmarks include the antecubital fossa bounded laterally by brachioradialis and medially by pronator teres, with the biceps brachii tendon descending centrally to its insertion on the radial tuberosity. Small but clinically mapped. The bicipital aponeurosis fans medially over the flexor-pronator mass, separating superficial veins from deeper neurovascular structures.
