Musculoskeletal System Illustrations and Animations
The musculoskeletal collection covers the skeletal and muscular systems together. Skeletal assets include the axial skeleton (skull, vertebral column, ribs, and sternum) and the appendicular skeleton (shoulder girdle, pelvis, and the bones of the upper and lower limbs), down to individual named bones and their surface landmarks. Muscular assets cover the skeletal muscles by region, with origins, insertions, tendons, and the associated ligaments and articular cartilage.
Joint assets show the major synovial joints, including the shoulder, hip, knee, and intervertebral articulations, in intact and sectioned views. Structures are available in anterior, posterior, lateral, and medial views, with bone-only, muscle-only, and combined layers. Every asset is rendered from one labeled 3D model built to Terminologia Anatomica and reviewed by our Medical Advisory Board, so bone and muscle anatomy stays registered across views and layers.
The collection supports anatomy and orthopedics education, surgical and physiotherapy communication, pharmaceutical and medical device content, and editorial use in textbooks and journals. Assets are available as high-resolution illustrations and 3D animations, licensed under Educational, Standard, or Extended terms through a subscription with credits or as individual purchases.
