Description
Posterior elements of the thoracic and lumbar vertebral column are centered around a corrected midline, with bilateral steel rods spanning multiple motion segments and tracking parallel to the spinous processes from superior to inferior levels. Paired pedicle screw heads and connecting hardware sit lateral to the midline at each instrumented vertebra, aligning with the pedicles and posterior arches, while the laminae and spinous processes remain visible between the implants. Coronal alignment reads as a near-vertical column, with reduced lateral deviation and a more symmetric relationship of the vertebral bodies to the posterior midline landmarks.
