Running along the ventromedial surface of the frontal lobe, the straight gyrus (gyrus rectus) appears as a longitudinal cortical ridge medial to the olfactory sulcus and lateral to the interhemispheric fissure. As the camera tracks anterior to posterior, the animation clarifies how the gyrus rectus relates inferiorly to the olfactory tract and bulb region and superiorly to the medial frontal cortex.
