Description
Axis (C2) transverse process is shown from an anterior perspective, highlighting the lateral bony projection that extends from the vertebral arch and frames the transverse foramen (foramen transversarium). The foramen sits lateral to the vertebral body and pedicle region, forming a rounded osseous ring that would be positioned anterolateral to the spinal canal in anatomical orientation. Small but unforgiving anatomy.
