Description
Posteriorly oriented osseous anatomy of the male brachium centers on the humerus, with the olecranon fossa excavated on the distal posterior surface between the medial and lateral epicondyles. Inferior to that depression, the trochlea and capitulum form the distal articular block that receives the ulna and radius at the elbow, while the shaft extends proximally toward the surgical neck and head of the humerus.
