Description
Running from the glenohumeral region to the distal phalanges, the female upper limb is presented as an external anatomy study of the shoulder, brachium (arm), forearm, wrist, and hand. Proximally, the contour of the deltoid frames the lateral shoulder, with the axillary fold and medial aspect of the proximal arm defining the transition into the brachium. Distally, the forearm tapers toward the carpal region, and the hand continues to the digits, where the proximal, middle, and distal phalanges establish the terminal anatomy in relation to the metacarpals.
