Description
Rotating in a lateral perspective, the scapula is centered on the glenoid process and the glenoid cavity (glenoid fossa) at the lateral angle, where the humeral head will articulate. The animation tracks the thin osseous rim circumferentially, clarifying the anterior and posterior margins of the glenoid and their relationship to the neck of the scapula medially.
