Anterior to the elbow joint, the cubital (antecubital) fossa forms a triangular depression bounded laterally by brachioradialis and medially by pronator teres, with the biceps brachii tendon tapering distally to the radial tuberosity at the lateral margin of the floor. Medial to the tendon, the brachial artery runs inferiorly toward its bifurcation into radial and ulnar arteries, while the median nerve lies medial to the artery as it passes deep to the bicipital aponeurosis. Superficial layers in this region commonly include the median cubital vein crossing obliquely within the roof, with the biceps aponeurosis spanning medially toward the forearm fascia.
