Lateral to medial, the sartorius outlines the triangle’s lateral border while the adductor longus forms the medial border, and the contour of the quadriceps femoris, most often the rectus femoris and vastus medialis, creates the dominant anterior thigh relief. Subtle surface landmarks along the medial thigh suggest the course of the great saphenous vein approaching the saphenous opening, which lies inferolateral to the pubic tubercle. Clear landmarks.
