Description
Standing in anatomical position, an obese adult white male is presented with the gastrointestinal tract superimposed on the torso, allowing clear orientation from the oropharyngeal region into the cervical and thoracic esophagus and down through the abdominal viscera. Inferior to the left costal margin, the stomach occupies the left upper quadrant, with the liver positioned superiorly and to the right, extending beneath the right hemidiaphragm.
