Description
Medial aspect of the male foot is rendered with a semi-transparent skin envelope, allowing the plantar musculature and tarsal architecture to read in situ. Clinically, this corridor matters in tarsal tunnel syndrome, where the tibial nerve divides into the medial and lateral plantar nerves beneath the flexor retinaculum posterior to the medial malleolus, and symptoms often localize along the abductor hallucis and medial plantar surface.
