Posterolateral anatomy of the male upper arm centers on the triceps brachii as it spans from the proximal humerus and scapula to the olecranon of the ulna. The long head tracks superiorly and medially toward the infraglenoid tubercle, while the lateral and medial heads occupy the posterior and posterolateral humeral shaft, converging distally into a broad common tendon. Along the posterior shoulder, adjacent contours of the posterior deltoid and the posterior axillary fold can be inferred around the proximal triceps. Clear distal insertion.
