Anterior regions of the thorax and abdomen align with intercostal and subcostal cutaneous branches, while the upper limb fields correspond to brachial plexus derivatives such as the intercostobrachial nerve (T2), medial cutaneous nerve of arm and forearm, and the radial, median, and ulnar nerve territories distally.
