Description
Anterior orientation of the right lung is presented with applied color isolating the horizontal fissure (fissura horizontalis, minor or transverse fissure) as it courses laterally from the hilum toward the anterior border. Superior to this fissure lies the superior lobe, while the middle lobe sits inferior and anteromedial, forming much of the right heart border.
