Rotating into an anterior view, the proximal femur is centered on the femoral neck, the obliquely oriented bony column running superomedially from the intertrochanteric region to the femoral head. The animation clarifies the anterior head neck junction and the transition into the shaft, with the greater trochanter positioned lateral and the lesser trochanter projecting posteromedially but still readable by its contour. Across the sequence, the neck’s narrowing profile and its relationship to the trochanters become obvious in a way a single frame often misses. Femoral neck anatomy sits at the crossroads of hip biomechanics and common injury.
