Description
Rendered as a radiograph-style 3D animation, the male urinary bladder appears as a contrast-outlined pelvic reservoir positioned posterior to the pubic symphysis and superior to the prostate, with the bladder base and trigone tapering inferiorly toward the bladder neck. A urothelial (transitional cell) carcinoma is visualized as an irregular intraluminal mass producing a focal filling defect and contour deformity along the vesical wall, with subtle localized mass effect on the surrounding contrast column. As the sequence progresses, the camera maintains an X-ray look while the lesion’s relationship to the trigone, ureterovesical junctions, and proximal urethra becomes easier to judge. Clear boundaries matter. Gross hematuria often triggers the workup for bladder cancer, and on radiographic studies such as cystography or CT urography a papillary tumor can announce itself by a persistent filling defect, mural thickening, or impaired distension rather than by calcification or gas.
