Description
Beginning with a radiographic-style rendering of an adult male skeleton, the animation places the liver as a right upper quadrant soft-tissue mass tucked inferior to the right hemidiaphragm and deep to ribs 7 to 11, extending medially toward the epigastrium beneath the xiphoid process. As the sequence progresses, the steatotic liver enlarges and becomes more radiographically conspicuous relative to adjacent abdominal soft tissues, while maintaining its anatomical relationships to the costal margin, lower thoracic vertebrae, and right kidney region posteriorly. Bony landmarks, including the sternum, thoracic cage, lumbar spine, and iliac crests, remain fixed to orient the viewer as hepatic volume and apparent density change over time. Clear landmarks.
