Description
Sweeping through the deep male pelvis, the sequence tracks the internal iliac artery as it divides into anterior and posterior divisions and then follows the key visceral branches coursing toward the reproductive organs. Branches commonly highlighted include the superior vesical artery giving a deferential (vasal) artery to the ductus deferens, the inferior vesical artery with prostatic and seminal vesicle branches, and the internal pudendal artery descending anteroinferiorly toward the perineum to supply the bulb of the penis and penile erectile tissues via the deep and dorsal arteries. Spatial relationships stay clinically grounded: the prostate and seminal vesicles sit inferior to the urinary bladder and anterior to the rectum, while the vessels run along the lateral pelvic wall before turning medially toward these midline targets. Arterial paths are progressively revealed. Urologic bleeding is rarely mysterious when you can see the map.
