Description
Anterior full-body coverage of the superficial lymphatic network in a female child is rendered through intact skin, with collecting vessels coursing from the scalp and face into the cervical nodal chains and continuing inferiorly along the neck to the supraclavicular region. From the upper limb, lymphatic vessels track proximally along the medial arm toward axillary lymph nodes, while in the trunk they converge toward parasternal and inguinal basins, with vessels from the lower limb ascending along the medial thigh to the superficial inguinal nodes. Head, torso, and extremities remain in neutral anatomical position, so right left laterality and proximal distal drainage pathways read clearly. Clean topology. This whole-body perspective matters when teaching how regional infections and malignancies spread along predictable nodal routes, and why lymphadenopathy is seldom random on exam.
