Posterior male pelvic anatomy is presented with emphasis on the posterior lateral lymphatic pathway, where collecting lymphatic vessels course along the posterolateral walls of the urinary bladder and descend toward the presacral region. The prostate sits inferior to the bladder base, embracing the proximal urethra, while the distal ureters enter the bladder posterolaterally near the trigone. Neurovascular structures track in the same neighborhood: pelvic autonomic nerves run medial to the internal iliac vessels and approach the bladder and prostate from a posterolateral direction.
