Description
Centered on the symphysis menti and body of the mandible, this anterior view traces paired arterial (red) and venous (blue) channels coursing within and along the alveolar part toward the mental foramen bilaterally. The mandibular incisors, canines, premolars, and molars sit superior to the mandibular base, with dental branches projecting apically into the roots. Laterally, the rami rise posteriorly from the body, framing the molar region and the likely pathway of the inferior alveolar neurovascular bundle as it approaches the mental canal. Clinically, the mental foramen and its contents are the landmarks that matter here.
