Description
Running from the axilla into the brachium, the axillary artery continues as the brachial artery along the anterior compartment, paired with the brachial venae comitantes and lying medial to the humerus before reaching the cubital fossa. Distally, the brachial artery divides into the radial artery laterally along the radius and the ulnar artery medially along the ulna, with venous channels paralleling them and digital veins forming an anterior network over the phalanges. Superficially, the cephalic vein tracks along the lateral forearm and arm, while the basilic vein ascends on the medial side, the median cubital vein bridging them across the anterior elbow. Bony landmarks include the scapula, humerus, radius, ulna, carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges. Clear landmarks.
