Red arterial channels track more centrally along the limb, with blue venous return running in parallel and extending into more superficial tributaries along the anteromedial and anterolateral leg. Around the joint line, the network spans superior to inferior genicular territories and reaches medially and laterally to the margins of the tibial plateau.
