Seen from a medial perspective, the anterior wall of the stomach (gaster, ventriculus) is presented from the cardia and fundus superiorly through the corpus to the antrum and pyloric region inferiorly, with the lesser curvature positioned medially and the greater curvature sweeping laterally. The transition at the gastroesophageal junction sits superomedially, while the pylorus lies more inferomedial as it approaches the proximal duodenum. Along the superior border, the attachment line of the lesser omentum tracks the lesser curvature toward the hepatogastric ligament. Broad peritoneal covering defines the gastric anterior surface.
