Description

A standing female torso is rendered with translucent skin and body wall so the pelvic contents read clearly in a lateral three-quarter orientation. The anteverted uterus sits between the urinary bladder anteriorly and the rectum posteriorly, its cavity opened to show the embryo at approximately nine weeks of gestation suspended within the amniotic sac. The cervix projects into the upper vagina, while the ovary and fallopian tube lie superolateral to the uterine fundus.
