Description
Viewed laterally, the right os coxae of an adult male is oriented with the iliac crest superior and the acetabulum centered as a deep hemispheric socket, while the ischium forms the posteroinferior column and the pubis extends anteromedially toward the symphyseal surface. Red-highlighted fracture lines traverse the ischiopubic region near the acetabular rim, implicating the junction between the ischial body and adjacent pubic component. The greater sciatic notch lies posterior to the acetabulum, and the ischial tuberosity sits inferiorly as the principal weight-bearing landmark in seated posture. Short, clear landmarks.
