Description
Rendered in a semi-transparent maxilla and midface, the upper dental arch is shown with the first maxillary molar highlighted in blue on the posterior alveolar process. An anterior-oblique perspective keeps the incisor-canine segment in view while drawing attention laterally and posteriorly to the molar’s crown position relative to the adjacent second premolar mesially and second molar distally. The tooth sits inferior to the floor of the maxillary sinus region and superior to the occlusal plane reference implied by the rest of the dentition. Surrounding cortical contours of the maxilla and parts of the zygomatic and nasal regions remain visible through the transparent skull overlay.
