Centered on the parotid region in anterior view, the parotid gland sits anteroinferior to the auricle and lateral to the ramus of the mandible, with a cluster of parotid lymphatics arranged along its capsule and extending toward the preauricular and infra-auricular nodes. Fine lymphatic channels track superficially over the masseter and deeper toward the parotid fascia, while the parotid duct (Stensen duct) courses anteriorly from the gland, crossing the masseter before turning medially toward the buccinator. Surrounding facial musculature, including the orbicularis oculi, zygomaticus major and minor, orbicularis oris, and the prominent masseter, provides clear topographic context for these lymphatic pathways.
